Everyone one of us has a story. We all have somewhere that we came from. Not one person in the world is perfect, we all have flaws and struggles. Some are visible and some are hidden, but nevertheless, we all have them. I will be first to tell anyone, I am far from perfect. I’ve faced my share of humility. It taught me a few things.
First of all, that by myself I am nothing. It is God who created me and I am at his mercy at times. He has been nothing short of the best father a man could ask for. He is the reason I created this blog, this isn’t for popularity or money or anything. God has given me every reason to be humble and remain humble for the rest of my life. I am grateful for all that has been given to me
Luke 14:11 “for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted”
Secondly, I will never think I am better than anyone else because I’m not and those who think too much of themselves will be humbled by God. God doesn’t like arrogance and conceited ways. He will make you humble yourself. I’ve had to learn the hard way myself, a few times. I’ve learned to be careful with what I say, I learned to only boast in the Lord.
Proverbs 12:15 “the way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice”
The third thing I learned is that no matter how much I think I know, I will always just be learning. It doesn’t matter if we are 7, 17, or 70. We are never too old to be taught a lesson. We will never know everything, and that is another reason to remain humble. As a child of God, we are at his mercy no matter what we think.
In conclusion, what I am trying to say is that we don’t know everything and we need to be humble. Let go of pride, arrogance, ego and all that stuff. We all have flaws and we were all created by God. I pray that God gives us all guidance and wisdom to do his will. To let go of our foolish ways and come to him with an open heart and mind. He is our creator, and our father. He is our only true sense of peace in the world we live in. Thank you for your time and I pray this may find its way to your hearts. God bless you all!
